How do I change the PHP version?

You can easily switch to a different PHP version from the one.com Control Panel. We recommend using the latest stable PHP version so your website gets the best performance, security, and compatibility.

PHP versions generally have a lifecycle of around four years. Once they reach end of life, they no longer receive official updates. If your site is still using a version that has reached end of life, our paid add-on PHP Extended Support will be automatically activated to keep it secure.

Learn more about why it is essential to keep PHP up to date in our guide: Why do I need to update PHP?
