You can accept payments as soon as your Stripe account is connected to your Online Shop. Stripe handles all your transactions.

How often does Stripe transfer money to my account?

Stripe transfers money to your bank account based on a schedule set in your Stripe dashboard. The schedule can be changed in your Settings. You can also get an overview of transfers from Stripe to your bank account in your Stripe dashboard.

Remember that most banks will only process the transfer on business days, so that a few extra days might be added to the total transfer time.

How does Stripe handle false cards and orders?

Stripe prevents fraud by detecting suspicious activities. For example, transactions for repeated orders will be rejected. Stripe also works with global partners and credit card networks to monitor fraud.

one.com isn't responsible for disputes of purchases. All disputes will be handled by Stripe directly.

Which currencies can I use?

In general, you can use the currency of the country you are in. The available currencies also depend on where your connected bank account is located.

Stripe charges a conversion fee for charges in a currency not associated with your bank account. The conversion fee varies, but it's about 2% on top of the regular transaction fees.

To avoid this fee, you can connect a bank account from the country with the currency you're using. Payments with that currency will then go to that account without a conversion fee.

You can accept payments from international customers if your bank account supports Stripe.

How much do refunds cost?

Refunds are free with Stripe. If you refund an order through the Stripe system, the payment transaction fee will be refunded to your account.

Will one.com charge me for using Stripe?

one.com will not charge you anything. Stripe is included in your Online Shop subscription.

However, Stripe charges a fee for every transaction, and specific payment methods require a monthly subscription fee.

I'm having trouble connecting to Stripe.

If you get a message telling you that the account already exists when you try to sign up for Stripe, you may already have one. Restart the process and login with your existing Stripe account instead.

How do I disconnect my Stripe account?

You can easily disconnect your Stripe account from your Online Shop.

  1. Log in to your Control Panel and select Go to Online Shop inside the Online Shop tile.
  2. Go to Settings and scroll down to Payment options.
  3. Click Edit next to the email address used for your connected Stripe account and select Disconnect Stripe in the window that opens.
