How do I activate SFTP for my web space?

Step 1 - Log into the control panel and click SSH & FTP

Step 2 - Set SFTP to On and click Send

Step 3 - Open the change password email in your inbox

Step 4 - Type in your new password and save

Note: If you have a Professional or Business plan, you need to activate SSH instead. This will also allow you to login with SFTP.

Step 1 - Log into the control panel and click SSH & FTP

Log in to the one.com control panel and click SSH & FTP on the Advanced settings tile.

Step 2 - Set SFTP to On and click Send

1. Under SFTP Administration, set SFTP access to On.
2. Click Send to have a change password email sent to your contact email address.

Step 3 - Open the change password email in your inbox

1. Open the inbox of your contact email address.
2. Locate the email with the subject "Change SFTP password..."
3. In the email, click Change password.

Step 4 - Type in your new password and save

1. On the page that opens, type in a password of your choice two times.
2. Click Save.

You can now log in with SFTP, for example, with Filezilla.
