In the one.com Control Panel, you can monitor how much disk space you are using.
- Log in to your one.com Control Panel
- On the Files & Security tile, click Disk Usage.
The overview shows the total amount of shared disk space and the distribution across the user's domains and web spaces. You also see how much space each domain uses on the web and email. Disk space can be shared between all your hosting subscriptions.
Tip: Your Disk space usage is updated three times a week. If you're in the process of creating space, you might need to return another day to see the updated status.
What should I do if I exceed the disk usage limit?
If your data is about to exceed the maximum disk space, you can do one of the following:
-
Delete files
In case you use more space than you need, you can delete redundant files. Have a look at your Disk Usage in the one.com Control Panel to determine what files you might want to remove. If you are suspended, please contact our support to have them remove the suspension when you have deleted enough files and are below the maximum disk usage limit.
If you need any help with deleting files, please check out this guide: How to clean up disk space for your domain
-
Upgrade to a bigger hosting plan
More storage space can be obtained by upgrading the hosting plan. An upgrade will take effect immediately, and you will only be charged for the remaining months of the current subscription year.
Check our full step-by-step guide: How can I downgrade or upgrade my subscription? or follow these steps:
- Click Edit under the Properties column in the "Disk space distribution" section.
- Select the plan you want and click Upgrade.
- Select a payment method and click Approve.
- Depending on your payment method, you need to enter your payment details to finalise the upgrade.
Note: Downgrading to a smaller plan shows a popup, notifying that you will lose access to some features and products in your current plan.
Before clicking "Downgrade" to confirm the change, make a backup if there is any data you wish to keep. We do not refund any payment if you downgrade to a cheaper plan.
