Setting up Mail on iPhone (iOS 7/8/9)
Set up your one.com email account on iPhones, iPads or iPods with iOS 7, 8 or 9.
Don't have an email address yet? With our email hosting solution, you can mail professionally with your domain to all your contacts.
Add your email account
- Tap Settings
- Move down and tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars
Tap Add Account
Tap Other
Select Add Mail Account.
Enter your email account details:
- Name: this will be visible as the sender.
- Email: the address you want to add.
- Password: the password you use to log in to Webmail.
- Description: a name for the account on your device.
Tap Next.
Highlight the IMAP tab.
Enter the following settings for the incoming mail server:
- Host Name: imap.one.com
- User Name: your email account
- Password: the one you use for Webmail
Enter the following settings for the outgoing mail server:
- Host Name: send.one.com
- User Name: your email account
- Password: the one you use for Webmail
Tap Next.
Tap Save.
Synchronise folders with the server
The next step is to synchronise Mailbox Behaviors with the server, to make sure that your mails are saved both on the device and on the server.
Tap the email account you just added.
Tap your account again.
Tap Advanced.
You need to select the following folders on the server:
- Tap Draft Mailbox and select Drafts.
- Tap Sent Mailbox and select Sent.
- Tap Deleted Mailbox and select Trash.
To complete the setup, tap Account and Done.
Congratulations, you have successfully set up your one.com email account on your iOS 7/8/9 device.
