Add an SPF record
SPF (Sender Policy Framework) prevents spammers from using an email address on your domain as their sender address, known as email spoofing.
The standard one.com SPF record is enabled automatically for newer domains. If it isn't enabled for your domain, you can enable it under Domains DNS settings Standard DNS settings. If you need a different SPF configuration, you can create a custom SPF record instead.

How does SPF work?
SPF is an email authentication method that lets receiving mail servers verify whether an email sent from your domain comes from an authorised server. If the sending server is not included in your domain's SPF record, the receiving system may reject the message or treat it as suspicious.
Not all incoming mail servers check SPF records. SPF therefore helps protect your domain against email spoofing, but cannot prevent it completely.
Enable the standard one.com SPF record
The standard one.com SPF record is enabled automatically for newer domains. If it isn't enabled for your domain, you can enable it from your DNS settings:
- Log into your one.com Control Panel.
- In the menu on the left, go to Domains DNS settings.
- Scroll down to Standard DNS settings.
- Find TXT domain.com, directly above TXT _dmarc.domain.com.
- Enable the toggle for TXT domain.com.
Your standard one.com SPF record is now enabled. It can take up to 90 minutes before the DNS change is active.
