List of tasks/services we offer
Here is the current list of tasks/services we offer to our Managed WordPress customers:
- One migration per customer: We do the migration for you. This can apply to newly registered domains or domain transfers. We need the FTP/SFTP connection details from the external server where your current WordPress installation is hosted to do this. Please get in touch with your previous provider if you can't find the FTP/SFTP connection details.
- Fix WordPress database connection string issues: Meaning issues where you are getting the "Error establishing database connection" error on your WordPress installation.
- Troubleshooting error messages: For instance, if you have a White Screen Error, Internal Server Error, PHP error message, or similar, we will help enable debug mode and PHP error messages if needed to help isolate the cause of the issue. If WP Admin is inaccessible, we can help bring it back up by deactivating misbehaving plugins or restoring it to a previous PHP version (available in the control panel) if the site is incompatible with the current one. We can not guarantee to fix the issue as it might be a 3rd party plugin or theme issue.
- Manual update of WordPress: This could, for instance, be in cases where the manual update is incomplete or you prefer us to do it for you.
- Backup restorations and saving backups using the Backup & Restore interface.
- Offer Apache access, server error logs, and WordPress error logs if available upon request.
