How to upgrade from Basic Mail to Exchange
In this guide, we'll show you how to upgrade from a Basic Mail account to an Exchange account. If you're seeking enhanced features for your Email and Calendar, consider upgrading to a Microsoft Exchange account. This upgrade not only provides advanced functionalities but also allows you to integrate your Office apps seamlessly, facilitating efficient collaboration with others.
Exchange provides the fully functional capabilities that you have with Premium Mail. If your Basic Mail account includes Premium Mail, Exchange will make the add-on unnecessary and automatically cancel it. Note that Sanebox is not compatible with Exchange.

Step 11 - Confirm that all emails are migrated
Your emails are being migrated to your new account automatically, and you can continue using the account during this process. You'll receive a notification that you'll need to confirm that all emails have been migrated correctly.
You will be notified via email if any emails cannot be migrated due to factors such as attachment size or other issues. We recommend reviewing your email and checking to see if all emails have been migrated.
Note: Keep in mind that you won't be able to move emails larger than 35 MB to your new Exchange account, as Microsoft does not accept emails over that size limit.
Step 12 - Import your calendars
When the account is created, you can import your calendar by following the link below:
Step 13 - What happens with my old basic Mail account?
Your old Basic Mail account will be renamed and accessible with the old password via Webmail or another email client in case you need to review any emails that were not migrated or download your calendar.
You can find your old account under Your email accounts in your Control Panel. When you no longer need the old account, you can delete it.
Note: If you want to access your Basic Mail account after the migration and use a different email client, you must set up the renamed Basic Mail account again.
Step 14 - Done!
You are done and can enjoy your Exchange account.
