You are billed for one year at a time, upon completion of your order in the control panel. Next, your application will be checked and validated, before the certificate is issued. From the date it is issued, the certificate is valid for one year, after which you need to renew it.
Billing for Extended Validation certificates (EV) is separate from the billing cycle of your web hosting subscription.
What if the certificate is never validated?
If for some reason, your application for an EV certificate gets denied, you can get a full refund. In the rare situations that this happens, we will contact you via email. You then have the option to apply for the certificate again or to request a refund.
What about the 15 days money back guarantee?
If you decide to cancel your EV certificate within 15 days from the date it was validated and issued, you can get a complete refund. Please contact our support if you want to use this possibility.
Do I need to cancel?
No, you don't need to cancel. After one year the EV SSL certificate will expire automatically. If you want to renew the certificate after the first year, your company details need to be verified again. We will send you an email with more information at that time.
Can I change the certificate?
Once it has been issued, it's not possible to change the EV certificate or the company details associated with the certificate. It's also not possible to change the contact person, company name or domain name.
