Why is one.com opening a new office in Sweden?
We want to increase our growth and commercial activities in Europe, and opening an office in Malmö, Sweden will support this. Most of our customers are located in Europe, and we think it makes sense to be closer to where our customers are.
Why are all customers transferred to one.com Group AB?
With the office in Malmö, we also established a new company called one.com Group AB. In line with our current focus on markets in Europe, we decided to transfer all customer contracts from our company in Dubai to the newly established company in Sweden.
What will this mean for me?
Other than that you now have a contract with a company in Sweden, there are no practical changes. The transfer to one.com Group AB will not affect your subscription and the terms and conditions remain unchanged.
If you are a business customer registered in Sweden, VAT will be included in your invoice, because you are now doing business with a company in Sweden.
Does anything change on my invoice?
Our Swedish VAT number (SE559205240001) will be listed on our invoice, and the address of our Swedish office will be visible at the bottom.
Swedish business customers will have VAT included on their invoice. For all other business customers with a valid VAT number, VAT will continue to be reverse-charged, in accordance with EU regulations.
Does it have any effect concerning GDPR?
Data regarding you as a customer will be transferred from Dubai to Sweden, making one.com Group AB the new data controller. You can find the new contact details in our privacy notice.
Why did you send me an email about this?
We are obliged by law to officially inform you of the change because legally your contract will be transferred to a different company. You don't need to do anything.
Will it affect the location of your servers?
Nothing will change; our servers stay where they are in our datacenter in Denmark.
