Navigating the new one.com Control Panel design

We've recently updated the design and functionality of the Control Panel start page to make it easier to navigate and manage your one.com products. This article outlines the main changes to help make the transition as smooth as possible for you.

Tip: During the transition phase, you can switch between the old and new design using the Try new look toggle in the bottom-left corner.


Invoice management and billing

In the old Control Panel design, you could access your invoices and payment settings via the Invoices and Payment methods tabs under My account in the top-right corner.

In the new Control Panel design, we've merged these two settings into one and made it available directly in the top bar. Click Billing to easily access all your billing-related settings.

Managing your products

Previously, you could access the management page for your products by going to My account and then clicking My products.

The management page for your products and subscriptions is still called My products, but you can now find it in the top bar in the upper-left corner of your screen:

Account settings

In the old design, you could access your account settings (such as settings for login, password, recovery and two-factor authentication) via My account --> Account settings.

You can now go directly to the page for these settings by clicking the little Settings icon in the upper-right corner.

Language settings

The language settings for your Control Panel were located under My account in the old design.

In the new design, you can access the language setting by clicking the little profile icon in the upper-right corner. Note that this is also where you can check which account you're logged in to and log out of your Control Panel.

VPS management 

Previously, you could access your VPS through the header of the one.com Control Panel.

With the new design, the management of your Virtual Private Server can be accessed via the VPS tab in the menu on the left.

Website Builder, Online Shop and Bookings

Previously, Website Builder, Online Shop and Bookings could be accessed via the tiles in the middle of the Control Panel.

In the new design, all three products can be accessed via Website Builder in the menu on the left.

WordPress

In the old design, WordPress could be accessed via its dedicated tile.

In the new design, you can access WordPress via the menu on the left.

Domain Lock

In the old design, Domain Lock could be accessed via the tile in the middle of the Control Panel.

To access Domain Lock in the new design, go to Security and compliance on the left and select Domain Lock in the drop-down menu.

Email

The Email administration could be accessed via the first tile on the left in the old Control Panel design.

In the new design, we've moved the entry point for Email to the menu on the left.

Add-ons

In the old Control Panel design, the Add-on overview page could be accessed via its dedicated tile.

In the new design, we've renamed Add-ons to Business tools. They can be accessed via the menu on the left.

Marketing

Previously, all Marketing tools could be accessed via the Services section at the bottom of the Control Panel.

In the new design, these tools can be accessed via the Marketing tab in the menu on the left.

Backup and Restore, Disc usage and File Manager

In the old design, Backup and Restore, Disc usage and File Manager where grouped together under Files and Security at the bottom of the Control Panel.

Now, you can access all three items under Hosting settings in the menu on the left.

Website security and Cloud storage

Previously, Website security and Cloud storage were placed under Files and Security at the bottom of the Control Panel.

In the new design, both items are placed under Security & compliance in the menu on the left.

Consent and compliance

In the old design, you could access your Consent settings (Termly) via the Consent and compliance tab under Advanced settings.

In the new design, you can find them under Security & compliance --> Consent and compliance in the menu on the left.

Database settings, PHP and SSH/SFTP

Database settings and settings for PHP and SSH/SFTP were located under Advanced Settings in the old design.
