Publish your new website with Aida AI Website Builder

With Aida AI Website Builder, you can quickly create a professional business website through simple conversations with AI. If you need help in getting started, you can read our guide: How to use Aida AI Website Builder.

You can continue improving your website by chatting with Aida, making visual edits, adding new sections such as contact forms, bookings, or an online shop, and fine-tuning your design before going live.

Once your website is ready, you can easily publish it online with one.com. Follow the steps below to launch your website and make it available to your visitors.

Step 1 - Click Publish

If you haven’t created a free trial account or generated a website yet, you can get started here.

1. Generate your website with Aida AI Website Builder.
2. In the editor, click Publish in the top-right corner next to the preview button.

Step 2 - Buy the needed products

The Publish your website window will open. The products needed to publish your website are added automatically, including:

• a domain (certain TLDs are free for the first year)
• our optional Domain Protection add-on
• a recommended hosting plan

You can click Switch plan to compare other hosting plans and choose a different option if needed.

1. If you already have a saved recurring payment method, tick the box to confirm your purchase.
2. Click Upgrade and publish to complete your order.

Step 3 - Pick a domain

Now you can pick a domain for your new website:

1. Use the domain search to find the right domain name for your website.
2. Check the labels to see if the domain is included in your offer (free for the first year) or available at an additional cost.
3. The next part depends on whether you want to order a new domain or transfer your existing domain from a different provider.

   • Select a new domain

     Click Connect to select your preferred domain name and extension.
     

   • Transfer your domain from another provider

     Click Transfer on the right side of the domain you want to transfer to one.com.
     

     A pop-up window will appear. If you are the current owner, click Transfer domain. You can read more and start a transfer on our website. 

     Please note that a domain transfer can take some time, and that the site won't be published automatically. You need to publish manually once the transfer is completed.

4. Click Continue on the right side.
5. Add the customer details and click Continue.
   
6. Select your preferred payment method and add your payment details.
7. Click Pay now to complete your purchase.
   

Step 4 - Go live with your website

Once your setup is complete, you’ll see a confirmation message showing that your website and domain have been successfully set up.

1. Click Publish again in the top-right corner to make your website live and available to visitors online. (You need a hosting plan and a domain or temporary subdomain to publish.) 

2. If this is the first time you are publishing your site, please note that it may take up to 20 minutes for the published website to go live after you have purchased a domain.  

   You can continue to improve and grow it at any time. If a larger hosting plan or an additional add-on is required to publish future changes, you’ll be notified after clicking Publish. You can then review and confirm whether you want to upgrade your plan or purchase the suggested add-on.

How to publish on a temporary subdomain

If you have purchased an Aida AI Website Builder plan, you can publish your website without connecting a domain. Instead, you can use a temporary one.com subdomain (for example, 78b5g5yj.website.one), which will be automatically assigned to your website, and connect your own domain later.

This is a useful option if you're not ready to connect a domain yet or if you're waiting to connect an existing one.com domain. Your website will remain available on the temporary subdomain until you connect your own domain.

Note: Email sending is not supported on temporary subdomains. This means contact forms and Online Shop emails won't work until you've connected your own domain.

You can publish your website on a temporary subdomain by following these steps:

1. Click Publish in the Aida AI Website Builder.
2. Select a plan and continue.
3. When prompted to choose a domain, click Choose domain later.
   
4. Complete the purchase.
5. When you're ready to publish your website, click Publish again.
6. Click Publish on temporary domain in the pop-up window that appears. 
   
7. Your website will be published on a temporary subdomain. The first publication can take up to 20 minutes.
8. Done! A banner will appear in Aida AI Website Builder. When you're ready to connect your own domain, click the button in the banner and follow the instructions.
