How to install OpenClaw on your server
Run your own OpenClaw AI agent on your own server in just a few steps.
The installation includes:
- Linux operating system
- Docker
- OpenClaw running in a container
Install OpenClaw on an existing server (Redeploy)
Important: Redeploying your server permanently deletes all existing data and resets the server.
Follow these steps to start the redeployment process:
- Log in to one.com Control Panel, open the VPS tab, and select your VPS to open the VPS details page in oneHome. You'll find detailed instructions in our seperate guide.
- Select Redeploy server.
- Choose Applications, and select Openclaw under Available applications. Click Next to continnue.
- Copy the OpenClaw Gateway token and save it in a secure place. You will need it later during configuration.
Also save theopenclaw onboardcommand, which is used to configure your OpenClaw instance after installation.
Click Continue to proceed. - Set the server settings and start the redeployment of your server.
- The installation can take up to 10 minutes. A notificatoin will appear in the dashboard once it is complete.
- Start the OpenClaw configuration once the installation is complete.
