How to install OpenClaw on your server

Run your own OpenClaw AI agent on your own server in just a few steps.

The installation includes:

  • Linux operating system
  • Docker
  • OpenClaw running in a container

 Install OpenClaw on an existing server (Redeploy)

Important: Redeploying your server permanently deletes all existing data and resets the server.

Follow these steps to start the redeployment process:

 

  1. Log in to one.com Control Panel, open the VPS tab, and select your VPS to open the VPS details page in oneHome. You'll find detailed instructions in our seperate guide.
  2. Select Redeploy server.
  3. Choose Applications, and select Openclaw under Available applications. Click Next to continnue.
  4. Copy the OpenClaw Gateway token and save it in a secure place. You will need it later during configuration. 
    Also save the openclaw onboard command, which is used to configure your OpenClaw instance after installation.
    Click Continue to proceed.
  5. Set the server settings and start the redeployment of your server.
  6. The installation can take up to 10 minutes. A notificatoin will appear in the dashboard once it is complete.
  7. Start the OpenClaw configuration once the installation is complete.
