Update the password for your database

You can change the password for your database in the one.com control panel. Click PHP and database settings on the Advanced settings tile.

Change the password of the MariaDB database

  1. Click on the pencil icon.
  2. Type in your new password.
  3. Click the rotating arrows icon to save.

Note: If you have installed a CMS, such as WordPress, you will need to update the login details. Remember to also update your database password in the wp-config file after changing it in the control panel. Failing to update the database connection details in WordPress will lead to errors on your website.
