We recommend deleting WordPress installations that you do not use anymore. Old WordPress installations are often forgotten and not updated anymore. This makes them vulnerable to hackers. Follow the steps below if you want to delete a 1-click WordPress installation.
- Step 1 - Go to WordPress in the one.com control panel
- Step 2 - Delete WordPress from your webspace
- Step 3 - Remove WordPress from your database
- Step 4 - That's it!
Step 1 - Go to WordPress in the one.com control panel
Log into the one.com control panel and click on See more under the WordPress tile.
Step 2 - Delete WordPress from your webspace
If you have more than one installation, follow these steps:
- Click the three dots in front of the arrow on the right side of the screen and click Delete.
- Enter your control panel password and click Delete.
If you only have one installation, follow these steps:
- Click OK in the popup window that appears.
- Click on Back to overview on the upper left side of your screen.
- Click the three dots in front of the arrow on the right side of the screen and click Delete.
- Enter your control panel password and click Delete.
Step 3 - Remove WordPress from your database
After you have removed WordPress from your webspace, you need to remove it from your database as well. We have created a separate guide for this.
Step 4 - That's it!
That's all! You have now successfully deleted your 1-click installation from your webspace and the database.
