We recommend deleting old WordPress installations that you no longer use. Old WordPress installations are often forgotten and not updated, making them vulnerable to hackers. Follow the steps below to delete a 1-click WordPress installation.
- Step 1 - Go to WordPress in the one.com Control Panel
- Step 2 - Delete WordPress from your webspace
- Step 3 - Remove WordPress from your database
- Step 4 - That's it!
Step 1 - Go to WordPress in the one.com Control Panel
Log into the one.com Control Panel and click on the WordPress tile.
Step 2 - Delete WordPress from your webspace

If you have more than one installation, follow these steps:
- Click the three dots in front of the arrow on the right side of the screen and click Delete.
- Enter your Control Panel password and click Delete.

If you only have one installation, follow these steps:
- Click OK if a popup window appears.
- Click on Back to overview on the upper left side of your screen.
- Click the three dots in front of the arrow on the right side of the screen and click Delete.
- Enter your Control Panel password and click Delete.
Step 3 - Remove WordPress from your database
After you have removed WordPress from your webspace, you need to remove it from your database as well. We have created a separate guide for this.
Step 4 - That's it!
That's all! You have now successfully deleted your 1-click installation from your webspace and the database.
