Akeeba Backup for WordPress
Large pages can cause the plugin to timeout, which means your backup will fail without you noticing. We strongly recommend using our Backup & Restore function, or making a manual backup of your web space and database.

BackWPup
BackWPup is another backup plugin that is working inefficiently. It keeps creating large temporary files that use a lot of resources, resulting in a low performance of your site.
Broken Link Checker
The plugin can cause a high load on our servers, or create a high amount of MySQL queries.
Instead, we recommend using our SEO tool called marketgoo, or an online tool like Broken Link Check.
Disable All WordPress Updates
This plugin disables all updates to your WordPress site, including the core installation, themes and plugins.
Outdated WordPress installations are the main cause of hacked sites, so that is why we don't recommend it. If your site gets hacked, we will have to take it offline until the problem is fixed. So make sure your site is up-to-date.
Duplicator
Duplicator can be used to backup or migrate your site. The problem is that it makes backups of the entire database, and not just the WordPress tables. This causes problems when you are importing it again.
It can also cause timeouts and a slow data connection, especially with larger sites. If you want to migrate your site, we recommend you to do this manually.
HashTraffic for WordPress
This plugin hasn't been updated in over 5 years, which makes it a potential security risk. It is also likely to have compatibility issues with your WordPress version.
Tip: Always check when a plugin was last updated, before installing it. If it was a long time ago, this can be an indication that the plugin is no longer maintained and is vulnerable to hackers.
Toolspack
This plugin has backdoors that are potentially dangerous for your website because hackers can exploit them.
W3 Total Cache
This plugin actually has the opposite effect of what it is intended for, instead of making your site faster it can make it slower. It can cause unexpected behavior, that is hard to debug.
If you want to use a cache plugin on your website, we recommend WP Super Cache instead.
Tip: We already have cache activated on your web space, so technically a plugin for this is unnecessary. If your WordPress site is slow, please contact our chat support so we can help you find out what is causing it.
WP Clone by WP Academy
It causes a high server load that causes timeouts making it unreliable. If you want to make a backup or migrate your site we recommend you to check out the guides below.
