- Step 5 - Enter your email and password
- Step 6 - Tap done
- Step 7 - All done!
In this guide we show you how to set up your email account with Mobile Sync (Exchange ActiveSync) on your Windows Phone. Would you rather set up your account with IMAP? Check out the guide below.
Note: Before you can set up your account, you need to activate Mobile Sync. You do this from Webmail > Settings > Mobile Sync. Read our guide for more information.
Step 1 - Tap Settings
Tap Settings on your start screen or in the app list.
Step 2 - Tap email + accounts
Tap email + accounts.
Step 3 - Tap add account
Tap add an account to start setup.
Step 4 - Choose Exchange
Select Exchange as account type.
Step 5 - Enter your email and password
- Type in the Email address you want to set up.
- Type in your Password, the same as for Webmail.
- Tap sign in.
Step 6 - Tap done
Your account has been added. Tap done to close set up.
Note: If you have custom DNS settings on your domain, Windows may not be able to detect your settings.
In that case, you need to set up the account manually:
- Tap sign in again.
- Tap advanced.
- For User name enter your complete email address.
- For Server enter m.one.com.
- Tap sign in.
Step 7 - All done!
Your account is now setup and your emails, contacts and calendar events will sync automatically.
Note: It may take a while until all your emails are synced and available on your Windows phone.
