How do I add SRV records for Office 365?

Note: Office 365 is a 3rd party product, and the info in the records might change, so please check your settings with Microsoft.

1. Add the first record with info similar to this:

Select SRV in the dropdown menu

Hostname: _sip._tls
TTL: 3600
Priority: 100
Destination: 1 443 sipdir.online.lync.com

2. Then you add the second record with info similar to this:

Select SRV in the dropdown menu

Hostname: _sipfederationtls._tcp
TTL: 3600
Priority: 100
Destination: 1 5061 sipfed.online.lync.com

Remember to save the records by clicking the plus (+) icon.

The TTL value is set in seconds, so 3600 is the same as 1 hour.

The general format for an SRV record is:

Select SRV in the dropdown menu

Hostname: _service._protocol.name
TTL: numeric value set in seconds
Priority: numeric value
Destination: weight port target
