Using the Media Manager in the one.com Companion app

For customers using our Website Builder, the Companion app includes a convenient feature called the Media Manager. This feature allows you to upload photos from your phone to your web space directly. Once uploaded, the images are saved in a dedicated folder and can then be added to your website.


How to upload images with the Media Manager

  1. Open the Companion app and select the Media tab. Your menu items will vary depending on your subscription and products access, which means that Media Manager can be accessed either via the Media tab in your main menu or via More > Media.
  2. Tap the button in the bottom-right corner with the plus sign to add images.
  3. Select images from your photo library. You can see the number of images you selected at the bottom.

    Note: The one.com Companion app can only access the items you select.

  4. Tap on Add or the Checkmark icon in the top-right corner when you finish your selection.

  5. You should get a message confirming the successful upload. The images will be added to the onewebmedia folder.
    If you encounter an error message indicating that certain files cannot be uploaded, you can refer to the upload overview to identify the missing images and try to upload them again.

    Note: Don't worry if you have added the wrong image. The selected images will only be added to the onewebmedia folder and not directly to the website. You can easily delete them from the folder if needed.


How to remove images from the Media Manager

  1. Open the Companion app and access the Media Manager.
  2. Tap on the image you want to remove.
  3. Select Delete file.
  4. Confirm that you want to remove the image by tapping Delete.
  5. You should get a message confirming the successful deletion.

How to add uploaded images to your Website Builder site

  1. Open the one.com Website Builder on your desktop.
  2. Drag the Image or Gallery component into your workspace from the menu to the left.
  3. Under My images, locate the photos you uploaded earlier.
  4. Select the images that you want to add.
  5. Confirm by clicking the Add to page button in the bottom right corner.
  6. Publish your website to make the added images visible to your visitors.
