The Snapshots function for oneVPS provides a quick and efficient way to back up your server. A snapshot is particularly useful before major actions such as updates or other significant changes. It lets you maintain peace of mind and ensure that you have a backup ready in case of any issues.
This guide explains how to create, restore or delete a Snapshot.
Note: Currently, it is only possible to create one snapshot
Key features of Snapshots
- A snapshot captures the current state of your VPS, including system configuration, installed applications, and stored data at a specific point in time.
- A snapshot documents the system's state and allows quick reversion to a previous state in case of an error or malfunction.
- Snapshots back up the entire server and can be created within a few minutes.
- Snapshots are stored for a maximum of 14 days unless you delete them beforehand.
