How do I change my VPS password?

We recommend that you assign a new password to your Cloud Server before you start using it. You can reset your password by redeploying your server in the settings in your VPS dashboard. This guide will show you how to do this.

Note: If you reset the password, your server will be redeployed, and all its data will be deleted. This action cannot be undone.

Change your password via the VPS dashboard

1. Go to your VPS dashboard.
2. Click on the name of the Cloud Server for which you want to change the password.
3. Scroll down to the Redeploy server section and click Reset server settings.
4. Scroll down until you see a Enter password field, and enter your new password. Then, repeat the new password in the Repeat new password field below the first field.
5. Tick the box saying I understand that my data will be deleted and that this action cannot be undone.
6. Click Confirm.
