What's the difference between Managed WP and Premium WP Care?

Premium WP Care and Managed WP are both subscription services that provide automatic update and security features for your WordPress site, helping you save time and keep your site up-to-date and working smoothly. The main difference is that while Managed WP is based on automatic features, Premium WP Care offers more hands-on help with your site.

Automatic updates

Managed WP includes a feature called Update Manager, which carries out automatic updates of WordPress core, themes and plugins. Updates are tested visually to make sure they don't harm your site.

In Premium WP Care, our WordPress experts go through updates which could not be carried out automatically, and run them manually if possible. Note that we cannot update premium and custom plugins.

In addition to plugins, themes and the WordPress core, we will update your site's PHP version for you.

Support

In Managed WP, you benefit from our WordPress know-how and priority support. Our WordPress experts can help you with troubleshooting issues, but you'll have to carry out the fixes yourself.

In addition to the above, in Premium WP Care we provide more hands-on support for your site:

• Fixing of critical issues - if we detect that your site stops working because of technical issues, our WordPress experts will fix the issues immediately. We make sure that your site is always online.
• Setting up CAPTCHA in your website's forms to protect them from spam submissions.

• Requires SFTP access, which can be easily activated.

1. Log in to your one.com Control Panel.
2. Click on Business tools in the menu on the left.
3. Scroll down to WordPress services. There, you’ll find Premium WP care as an add-on option.
4. Click the Learn more button to open a pop-up window.
5. Add a short message and click Send request.
6. That's it! Our customer support team will get back to you as soon as possible.
