Which templates can I use in Website Builder?
If you're using our classic Website Builder, you have the option to select a template from our vast collection and start building your website from there.
What are templates?
In our classic Website Builder, templates are the framework of your website. They contain the content that is the same for all pages, like the design, font and colour scheme. Pages contain content that is unique for that page, like text and images.
Working with templates makes it easy to change the overall style of your site, like the menu or footer.
How do I select a template?
When you start the onboarding process in Website Builder, you can choose between two different approaches: You can follow the default, AI-assisted flow to get a customised website suggestion, or you can select one of our templates and built your website from there.
If you want to use the latter option, do the following in the onboarding:
- On the first page (where you select your website category), click Browse templates in the blue window.
- You'll now see the overview page of the template collection. You can browse through all of them or select a category that suits you in the menu on the left.
- Hover over a template to show the Preview button. Some templates display two buttons - Multiple Pages and One Page - both of which open a preview of the template.
- In Preview mode, you can adjust the colour scheme and explore the site's structure and elements.
- Click Done in the lower-left corner to use a template, or click Back to return to the template overview.
