Step 3 - View templates and choose one to import

You will now see a selection of templates. At this point, the process of importing a new template will vary slightly depending on whether or not the colour theme function is enabled.

If the colour theme is disabled:

You will see both Preview and Select options when you hold your mouse over a template. Click Preview, and then Import template at the top of your screen on the next page to import the template.

If the colour theme is enabled:

If the colour theme is turned on, you will only see the Preview option. A new window will display the template and the colour theme on the left when you click it. In this case, you must choose a colour theme and click Done on the left-side bottom of the page to import the template.

Tip: You can see how the template looks on mobile devices by switching to the mobile view in the top-right corner. Click the menu to navigate through the different page types.

Step 4 - Delete the added pages

When importing a template, Website Builder automatically generates the default pages. You can find them at the bottom of the pages menu and can safely delete them.

  1. Click the pages menu in the light blue bar at the top of the screen.
  2. Right-click on the page you want to delete and select Delete page. You can also click on the three dots next to the page to get the same options.

Click Delete to confirm that you want to delete the page.

Repeat the last two steps until you have deleted all the pages created with the new template, usually five or six.
