How to use the one.com Mail app
The one.com Mail app lets you access and manage your one.com email from your phone. You can read and send emails, manage your inbox, and add multiple email accounts in one app.
You can also receive push notifications on your phone when new emails arrive.
You can still access your email in a browser using Webmail on your phone or tablet. The Mail app provides an all-in-one experience designed specifically for mobile devices. This guide explains how to get started and use the app's main features.

Logging in to the one.com Mail app
When you log in to the one.com Mail app, your email account is saved in the app, so you don't need to enter your login details every time you open it. You can add and use multiple email accounts in the same app.
If you are logged out of an account, it will remain listed in the app. Simply select the account and enter your password to log in again.
If you log in for the first time:
- Open the one.com Mail app.
- Log in using your full email address and password.
- Tap the Log in button.
Tip: You can allow us to store your login details securely on your device so that you don’t have to enter your password again next time.
Adding and switching between email accounts
You can add multiple one.com email accounts to the app, switch between them, and remove accounts you no longer want to use.
To add another account:
- Once logged in, tap the current folder name in the top-left corner to open the menu.
- Tap your email account to open the Accounts drop-down menu.
- Tap Add account.
- Enter the email address and password for the account you want to add.
- Tap Log in. The inbox for the added account opens automatically.
To switch accounts:
In the Accounts drop-down menu, tap the email account you want to use. The app switches to the selected account and opens its inbox or opens its login screen.
To remove an account:
- Once logged in, tap the current folder name in the top-left corner to open the menu.
- Tap your email account to open the Accounts drop-down menu.
- Tap Manage accounts.
- Find the account you want to remove and tap Remove.
- Confirm by tapping Remove.
Note: If you remove your only email account, the app will be reset.
Managing push notifications
You can receive push notifications on your device when you get new emails in the one.com Mail app.
Allow notifications on your device
To receive notifications, you must accept the notification permission request in the app or via your device settings. If you don’t allow notifications, the app cannot send alerts about new emails.
How often does the app check for new emails?
The app checks for new emails approximately every 5 minutes. When new messages are found, you will receive a separate notification for each email account that has new messages.
Checking for new emails when opening the app
When you open the app, we immediately check for new emails again. Unread emails are marked with a red dot, making them easy to spot in your inbox.
Navigating your inbox
Open different folders
The name of the current folder is shown at the top-left corner (e.g. Inbox). Tap it to see and switch to other folders like Drafts, Sent, Spam, or Trash.
Search your inbox
While you're in the inbox, tap on the magnifying glass icon to reveal the search bar. It'll appear near the top of the screen. Start typing to find specific emails by sender, subject, or keyword.
Unread email indicator
A red dot indicates that an email is unread. The dot disappears once you've opened the email.
Managing emails
To quickly manage your emails, tap and hold an email in your inbox. A menu will appear with several options:
- Reply
- Reply all
- Forward
- Mark as unread/read
- Add/remove star
- Move
- Move to Trash
- Resend (Only if an email has failed to send)
The same menu will also appear if you open an email and click the three dots in the top-right corner.
Create and send an email
- Tap the yellow icon in the bottom-right corner of your inbox to create a new email.
- Add the recipients, subject, and message. To add an attachment, tap the paper clip icon.
- Tap Send in the top-right corner when you are ready.
- A 5-second countdown appears before the email is sent. Tap Undo during the countdown to return to the email and make changes.
Save or discard drafts
To save an unfinished email as a draft, tap the X in the top-left corner of the composer. The email is automatically saved to your Drafts folder. A confirmation appears when the draft has been saved. Tap Discard if you don't want to keep it.
View received emails
Open and read emails by tapping on them.
Reply or forward an email to someone else
Open an email and tap the Reply or Forward button. Alternatively, tap and hold the email in your Inbox, then select Reply, Reply all, or Forward.
Identify unread emails
Unread emails show the sender in bold. Once you open an email, the bold formatting disappears
Move emails to Trash
In your Inbox, tap and hold the email, then select Move to Trash.
Permanently delete emails
In your Trash folder, tap and hold the email, then select Delete permanently.
Manage multiple emails at once
You can manage several emails at once using multi-select. Tap the avatar next to an email to enter multi-select mode, then select the emails you want to manage. You can even tap Select all in the top-right corner.
Use the toolbar to mark as read or unread, star or unstar, move, or delete the selected emails.
Organising emails
Add or remove a star
Open an email or select multiple emails in multi-select mode. Tap the star icon in the toolbar to add a star. To remove the star, tap the star icon again.
Mark emails as read or unread
Open an email and tap on the three dots, then select Mark as read/unread.
Move emails to another folder
Open the email and tap the folder icon in the top-right corner. Alternatively, tap and hold the email in the Inbox, then select Move.
Choose an existing folder.

Manage your mail settings
Open the Account & folders menu by tapping the arrow next to Inbox, then tap Settings at the bottom. You can switch between General and Security settings.
General settings you can edit:
- Display name
- Email signature
- Reply-to address
- Mails per page
- Email preview
- Start reply
- Desktop notifications
- Calendar quick view
Security settings you can edit:
- Change password
- Spam filter
