How to sync your calendar on Android using CalDAV
To sync your calendar on an Android device, you’ll need a CalDAV client app such as DAVx⁵ or OneCalendar. This guide walks you through the steps to connect your calendar using CalDAV.

Before you start
Make sure you have the following before your start:
- A CalDAV-compatible calendar service
- Your CalDAV URL, username and password
Step 1 – Install a CalDAV client
Go to the Google Play Store and download a CalDAV app like DAVx⁵ or One Calendar. In the screenshots in this guide, we have used One Calendar.
Step 2 – Find your CalDAV URL
You’ll need the CalDAV URL provided by your calendar service. This is often found in the calendar settings.
In one.com Webmail, you'll find it under Calendar options, see screenshot below.
Step 3 – Open the app and add a new account
Open the CalDAV app and choose to add a new account. Select CalDAV as the account type.
Step 4 – Enter your account details
Fill in the following information:
- Username
- Password
- CalDAV URL
Note: Some apps may also ask for a server address or port.
Step 5 – Choose calendars to sync
After signing in, you'll see a list of available calendars. Select the ones you want to sync with your Android device.
Step 6 – Verify that sync is working
Once set up, your calendar events will appear in your Android calendar app or within the app you installed. Any updates will sync both ways automatically.
Step 7 – Done
That’s it! Your calendar is now synced with your Android device using CalDAV. You're all set.
