How to Sync Calendar in Outlook with CalDAV
Outlook doesn’t support CalDAV by default, but with a third-party plugin, you can still connect your calendar to services like Zoho Calendar, Roundcube, and others. This guide explains how to sync your Outlook calendar with a CalDAV server using the CalDAV Synchronizer plugin.

Step 1 – Download CalDAV Synchronizer
Go to the official CalDAV Synchronizer website and download the plugin.
Step 2 – Install the plugin
Run the downloaded file and follow the installation instructions to install it into Outlook.
Step 3 – Restart Outlook
Close and reopen Outlook to make sure the plugin loads correctly.
Step 4 – Set up a sync profile
Fill in the following information:
- Click the CalDAV Synchronizer tab in the Outlook ribbon.
- Select Synchronization Profiles and click the + button.
- Choose Generic CalDAV/CardDAV as the profile type.
- Name your profile (e.g., Work Calendar).
- Enter the CalDAV server URL, your username, password and email address (or app-specific password if needed).
- Select the Outlook calendar folder you want to sync with.
- Click Test or discover settings to check the connection.
- Click OK to save the profile.
Step 5 – Choose calendars to sync
If your CalDAV service includes multiple calendars, select the one(s) you want to sync.
Step 6 – Enable syncing
Make sure sync is turned on for the new profile.
Step 7 – Sync your calendar
You can wait for automatic sync or manually start it by clicking Synchronize now from the plugin tab.
Step 8 – Done
Your Outlook calendar is now connected and syncing with your CalDAV server. Any updates will be reflected in both places.
