Can I add different owner details for the subscription and domain owner?
Yes, absolutely! You can choose to have different ownership details on the subscription and the domain owner. The details you add on customer details will be the owner of your account/webspace. Simply choose No when you're asked Will the owner of the domain be the same as entered above? to add different owner details to the domain.
Please read this guide to learn the difference between the subscription owner and the domain owner.
I have used up the quota on 5 .no domains as a private person. What do I do?
You have two options:
- You can delete one of your domains to make space for a new one.
- You can order the domain from an organisation or another private person.
Note: If you cancel one of your domains, it will not be deleted immediately but will stay active until it expires. To completely delete your domain, you'll need to fill out and sign this form, and attach a copy of your ID. The signature and ID must be of the correct owner.
We only need to see the date of birth, full name, signature and expiry date on your ID - for your safety, please conceal all other information. This can be done by blacking out text or covering some elements while taking the picture.
Send the form and copy of ID to our Support, and we will handle the form within 24 hours. When we have processed the form, and the domain is sent for deletion, the domain will be entirely deleted from Norid within 24 hours. When sending in the Termination form, your webspace will also be deleted if you don't specify anything other. So remember to backup your data if needed.
