How to get Aida AI Website Builder on an existing one.com domain Aida AI assistant

If you already have a plan and a domain with one.com, follow these steps to build and publish a website using Aida AI Website Builder. You'll need to change your existing plan to an Aida AI Website Builder plan through your Control Panel. Once that's done, you can start building your new site with Aida AI Website Builder and publish it on your existing domain.

Note: This guide concerns domains that are already hosted with one.com. If your domain is hosted with another provider and you want to transfer it to us and connect it to your Aida AI Website Builder site, then please follow the steps in our guide on how to publish your Aida Ai Website Builder site. In step 3, you should use the "Transfer your domain from another provider" option.

Requirements

You should be aware of the following before starting this process:

  • This process is intended for customers who haven't started building their Aida AI Website Builder site via the trial. It's not currently possible to connect an existing Aida AI Website Builder site built via the trial to an existing plan and domain.
  • Only Domain only and Email Essential plans can be upgraded to an Aida AI Website Builder plan. If you have a larger hosting plan, you must downgrade it to one of these options first. You can read more about this in our guide on how to change your subscription.
  • Your domain and webspace must be on our new hosting platform. You can check this in your Control Panel by going to Domain in the menu on the left; if you see a menu item named Subdomains, you're on the new hosting platform.

Step 1 - Go to your Control Panel

  1. Log into the Control Panel of the domain that you want to purchase an Aida AI Website Builder plan for.
  2. If you are eligible for the plan, you should see a banner promoting it. Click Start 30 days free to get started.

Step 2 - Select your plan

  1. You'll now see an upgrade window. The selected plan name and the price of it will be displayed in the middle of the window. Click Switch your plan if you want to choose another one.
  2. Click Try for free to select the plan and get started. Note that you get a 30-day period at the beginning of your subscription where you can freely switch between plans at no additional cost. Once the free period ends, you'll be charged based on the plan you have selected at that time.

Step 3 - Start building with Aida AI Website Builder

And that's it! You should now see a success message in your Control Panel dashboard saying that you've upgraded your plan. Aida AI Website Builder now has it's own entry point in the menu on the left; click it to start building your dream website with Aida!
