How to set up an Online Shop with Aida AI Website Builder
With Aida AI Website Builder, you can quickly set up an Online Shop through a conversation with Aida. Tell Aida about your shop and what you want to sell, and it will help you create the initial setup. You can then add products, organise your shop and manage orders and other shop settings.

Step 1 - Open your Aida AI Website Builder
Log in to Aida AI Website Builder and open your website editor.
Step 2 - Start setting up your shop with Aida
You don't need to build your shop from scratch. In the chat with Aida, type that you want to create an online shop, for example: "I want to create an online shop."
Aida will then ask you questions about your shop, including which products you want to sell. Answer the questions and add any other relevant details. You can also ask Aida to make changes later on.
Click the Online Shop (store) icon in the menu on the left. This opens the Online Shop area, where you can edit and manage your shop.
Use the Online Shop menu to access the different parts of your shop:
- Products - Add and manage your products.
- Categories - Organise your products into categories.
- Orders - View and manage customer orders.
- Coupons - Create and manage discount coupons.
- Shipping - Set up and manage shipping options.
Step 3 - Add and manage your products
You can ask Aida to create products for you. Describe the products you want to sell, or upload your product images in the chat. Aida can use this information to create product drafts and organise them into categories.
Review the product drafts Aida creates. When you're happy with them, save the products to your catalog. You can create several products at once.
To add or manage products manually, go to Online Shop > Products. You can switch between Grid and List view.

Click + Add product in the top-right corner.
Manage existing products
Click the three dots and select an option:
- View - See an overview of the product details.
- Edit - Change the product details, price or stock.
- Duplicate - Create a copy of the product.
- Delete - Delete the product.
Step 4 - Create and manage categories
Categories help you organise your products and make it easier for customers to browse your shop. Aida can automatically create suitable categories for your products.
Create a category manually
Ask Aida to create a category for you, or go to Online Shop > Categories and click + Add category in the top-right corner.
Edit a category
Go to Online Shop > Categories and click the pencil icon next to the category you want to edit. You can change the category information or add an image.
Delete a category
Go to Online Shop > Categories and click the bin icon next to the category you want to delete.
Step 5 - Set up local pickup and shipping
Go to Online Shop > Shipping to set up options for local pickup and custom shipping.
Step 6 - Configure shop and payment settings
Click the gear icon in the menu on the left to open Website settings.
Under Shop settings, you can:
- add your shop information (name, address)
- set your email preferences (for order notifications)
- choose your region, currency and weight unit
Under Payment & VAT, you can:
- connect Shore Pay (to accept credit cards and digital wallets)
- set up manual payment (for offline payments)
- manage VAT & taxes

Step 7- Review and publish your shop
Once Aida has created the initial setup, review your shop and make any changes you need.
You can continue using Aida to help you build your shop, or manage individual parts of it from the Online Shop menu.
Click Publish in the top-right corner of Aida AI Website Builder editor to set your Online Shop live.

Step 8 - Manage your orders
Go to Online Shop > Orders to view and manage orders from your customers.
The overview shows the order status, payment status, date, customer and total of each order. Use the filters at the top to find orders by order status, payment status or date, or use the search field to find a specific order.
Click an order to open it and view its details. Click Edit to make changes. You can manually mark an order as paid or shipped, view the order history and add notes.
