In this guide, you'll find answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about the migration of your webshop from SimpleSite/123 sites to one.com. All webshops from SimpleSite/123-sites will be migrated to the one.com platform, where you can manage your shop as a one.com Online Shop.
If you have a more general migration question, please check out our general migration FAQ. If you have a question about feature differences on your website, we've also put together a specialised guide for this topic.
If you have a question that is not answered in any of these guides, feel free to get in touch with our support.
Note: The migration includes customers from both SimpleSite and 123-sites. These two will collectively be referred to as "SimpleSite" in this FAQ.

When will the migration take place?
We will start migrating websites with webshops at the beginning of November. We can't say precisely when each customer will be migrated, but you will get a notification via email 15 days in advance when it is your turn to be migrated. Additionally, we'll send you an email one day before the migration and another once your site and shop have been successfully migrated.
Do I need to do anything with my webshop before the migration?
No, not for your webshop specifically. Your shop will be migrated as it is to the one.com Online Shop.
We will also handle the overall migration for you, but you can help us ensure a smooth process by logging in to your SimpleSite account beforehand and checking that your email address and primary data are up to date.
Will my webshop stay online during the migration?
Yes, the site and the corresponding shop will stay online while we migrate. However, while the site and the shop will be fully accessible, customers will not be able to make purchases in the webshop during the migration.
On average, the shop will only be closed for purchases for a few minutes, while the migration process should be done within a few hours.
How do I access and manage my webshop at one.com?
There are two ways of accessing your webshop/Online Shop administration at one.com.
The first method is via the Online Shop component inside the Website Builder editor:
- In the Website Builder, go to the page where your shop is located.
- Select the shop component by clicking on it, and then click the tab that says Manage products and orders on top of the component. A pop-up window with the Online Shop administration will then open.
The second is via the one.com control panel:
- Log in to your one.com control panel.
- Go to the Online Shop tile and click Go to Online Shop. This will lead you directly to the Online Shop administration.
Will all my existing webshop data (for example, order history and product information) be migrated?
Yes, data such as order history, product information, stock, etc., will all be migrated to your one.com Online Shop.
Will my payment options keep working as they are now?
Yes, they will. You can use Paypal in the one.com Online Shop, and if you have this set up in your current webshop, the connection will automatically be transferred to your one.com Online Shop - you will not need to do anything.
The same goes for payment via email, which will be transferred to your one.com Online Shop as manual payment. You can read more about all payment options in our separate guide on payment options for the Online Shop.
On top of the payment options mentioned, the Online Shop also offers integration with Stripe. This allows you to offer secure online payment via credit card in your shop and payment via several local services. You can read more about Stripe in our FAQ article.
Will my shipping options keep working as they are now?
Yes. All existing settings that you may have involving flat-rate shipping and PerProduct shipping will automatically be transferred to your Online Shop.
Additionally, the one.com Online Shop offers weight-based shipping. This allows you to enter a weight for your product and determine shipping costs based on weight. You can read more about the basic shipping settings for the Online Shop in our separate guide.
For customers in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Belgium, we also offer an integration with Shipmondo. You can read more about this option in our extensive Shipmondo guide.
Will the migration affect active and pending orders?
No, all active and pending orders will be migrated to their respective states at the time of the migration. For example, if you received an order in your webshop that hasn't been paid or sent, it will also be shown as "not paid/sent" in your Online Shop after migration.
Are there any features in the SimpleSite/123-sites shop that are not supported in the one.com Online Shop?
As the SimpleSite webshop and the one.com Online Shop are two different tools, there will be minor changes in the layout and the location of various features. However, all major features from your webshop will also be present in the one.com Online Shop.
The only feature not directly supported in the Online Shop is subcategories for products. If you have any subcategories in your current webshop, these will be transferred as a separate main category in your Online Shop.
Where can I find more information on the one.com Online Shop?
