How do I create a guest user?
Guest users allow you to give someone else access to parts of your Control Panel or web space without sharing your own login details. You decide which areas they can manage, and you can update their access at any time.
Create a guest user
- Log in to the one.com Control Panel and click Guest users under the Advanced settings.
- Click Add new guest user.
- Enter the email address of the new user. This will be the email address used to log in.
- Under Set user permissions, you can choose what the guest user has access to by checking the relevant boxes. You can change these permissions later at any time. The available options are:
- DNS settings
- Mail administration (including Virus & Spam settings)
- PHP and database settings
- Website analytics
- Website Builder, File Manager & Online Shop
- WordPress
- Search Engine Optimizer (available only with marketgoo)
- Click Add.
- The new guest user will receive an email with a link to create their password.
Note: If the email address already exists as a login, the guest user will not receive an email. The domain will simply be added to their existing login in the Control Panel.
