In this guide, we'll show you how to find your VPS technical details, credentials and remote access.
How to access my VPS dashboard
You manage VPS in our oneHome environment. Follow the steps below on how to access the dashboard:
- Login to your one.com Control Panel.
- Click VPS at the top of your Control Panel to access the VPS dashboard.
- Click the name of the VPS you want to manage, and it will open your oneHome, where you can manage it.
Where to find my VPS credentials
After you've ordered your VPS, you'll receive an email with your VPS login credentials (hostname and password). Once logged in to your VPS Dashboard, you'll find an overview with the hostname and IP address at the top.
Remote access
All of our Linux-based Cloud SSD servers allow you to connect directly to the shell using SSH.
Secure Shell (SSH) is both a network protocol and a set of programs that enable you to establish a secure, encrypted network connection with a remote device.
SSH programs are available for almost all known operating systems. For Linux and Mac, SSH is included by default. For Windows, we recommend using PuTTY.
After downloading and installing PuTTY, you can establish an SSH connection to your server by entering a few details:
Input field | Input value |
Hostname or IP address | The IP address or hostname of your server. This information can be found in your oneHome server overview. |
Port | 22 |
Username | administrator |
Password | Your VPS password. |
Once you've entered all the data, start the connection to your server and specify the username and password in the next step.
