VPS accessibility and management
When you order a new Cloud Server, you'll complete the setup by creating an administrator password in the VPS dashboard in oneHome, where you'll also find your server details, including the hostname and IP address.
You can access the VPS dashboard through the VPS page in the one.com Control Panel. You can also connect to your VPS remotely using SSH.

How to access my VPS dashboard
You access your VPS dashboard through the one.com Control Panel. After selecting your VPS, you'll be taken to its management page in oneHome, where you can manage your server.
Follow the steps below to access your dashboard:
- Log in to your one.com Control Panel.
- Click VPS in the menu on the left.

Click the name of the VPS you want to manage to open its management page in oneHome.
How to set up my administrator password
When you order a new VPS, you'll receive an email asking you to complete the setup in the VPS dashboard.
During the setup process, you'll create an administrator password for your server. You'll use this password together with your server details to access your VPS.
Follow the steps below to create your administrator password and finish the VPS setup.
- Go to your VPS page in the one.com Control Panel.
- Click your VPS to open its management page in oneHome.
- Click Complete setup to create your password.

Where to find my VPS details
After completing the setup and opening your VPS dashboard in oneHome, you’ll see an overview of your server at the top of the page. This includes the hostname, IP address, and other essential details.
Remote access
All our Linux‑based Cloud SSD servers support direct SSH access. SSH (Secure Shell) is both a network protocol and a set of programs that allow you to establish a secure, encrypted connection to your server, with a remote device.
SSH programs are available for almost all known operating systems. On Linux and macOS, SSH is included by default. On Windows, we recommend using PuTTY.
After downloading and installing PuTTY, you can establish an SSH connection to your server by entering a few details:

| Username | administrator |
| Password | Your VPS password. |
Once you've entered all the data, start the connection to your server and specify the username and password in the next step.
