- Step 1 - Open the Windows Control Panel
- Step 2 - Click User Accounts
- Step 3 - Click Mail (Microsoft Outlook 2016)
- Step 4 - Click Email Accounts...
- Step 5 - Click New
- Step 6 - Select manual setup
- Step 7 - Select Exchange ActiveSync
- Step 8 - Enter your account settings
- Step 9 - Test account settings
- Step 10 - You're all set!
Follow this guide to set up Outlook 2016/13 on Windows with Mobile Sync (Exchange ActiveSync). The advantage of Mobile Sync over IMAP is that it also syncs your calendar and contacts.
Before you can set up your account, you need to activate Mobile Sync for your email account. You do this from Webmail > Settings > Mobile Sync. Read our guide for more information.Note: Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) is officially only supported on mobile devices. Microsoft may decide to stop supporting EAS in the desktop version of Outlook. Because Mobile Sync uses Exchange ActiveSync, it will then no longer work in Outlook for desktop. You can of course still use IMAP, to set up your account.
Step 1 - Open the Windows Control Panel
Open your Windows control panel, by typing control panel in the Windows search box. You can also right-click on the Start button and then click Control Panel.

Step 2 - Click User Accounts
Click the category called User Accounts.

Note: If you view your control panel by icons, click Mail (Microsoft Outlook 2016) and move on to step 4.
Step 3 - Click Mail (Microsoft Outlook 2016)
Click Mail (Microsoft Outlook 2016).

Step 4 - Click Email Accounts...
Click Email Accounts... in the window that opens.

Step 5 - Click New
Click New to start setup of a new email account.

Step 6 - Select manual setup
Select Manual setup or additional server types and click Next to continue.

Step 7 - Select Exchange ActiveSync
Select Exchange ActiveSync and click Next.

Step 8 - Enter your account settings
Enter your account details:
- Mail server: m.one.com
- User name: your email account
Click Next to continue.

Step 9 - Test account settings
Outlook will now test the account settings. If everything is correct the task will be completed. Click Close to continue.

Step 10 - You're all set!
Your account is now set up. Click Finish or Add another account if you want to set up another email account.
