How can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription?

• Step 1 - Go to My account > My products
• Step 2 - Manage your subscription plan: upgrade, downgrade, or cancel
• Step 3 - Select your new plan
• Step 4 - Approve

Before you make any changes, please take a moment to read the text below.

• Changes to your web hosting subscription will take effect immediately.
• If you upgrade to a more expensive plan, you will be charged for the difference in price for the remaining months.
• We don't refund any payment if you downgrade to a cheaper plan.

Step 1 - Go to My account > My products

1. Go to My account > My products in your control panel, or click here to get to the Product page directly.
   

Step 2 - Manage your subscription plan:
upgrade, downgrade, or cancel

You will now see an overview of your domain(s) and plan(s). The next steps depend on your current plan. Follow the steps that fit your situation. 

• Current plan: Email or larger plans

  - Attach a domain to an existing hosting plan

  Click Manage to the far right and select Move to another plan in the menu.
  

  Tip: Depending on your plan, you can attach several domains to the same plan. For example, you can add a total of five domains to an Enthusiast plan. Please check our guide How do I attach a domain to a hosting plan? for more information.

  - Change the current plan

  Click the Plan options button in the top right corner of the plan you want to upgrade or downgrade and select an option in the menu that appears:
  
  

  • Click Upgrade or downgrade to change the subscription plan.
    
  • Select Remove plan to downgrade to Domain only.

    Note: If you downgrade to Domain only, all domain files, websites and emails will be deleted immediately. Make sure to back up the data first if you wish to keep it.

• Current plan: Domain only

  1. Click Manage to the far right of the plan you want to upgrade or downgrade.
  2. In the menu that appears, you have these options:
     
     
  • Click Attach to hosting plan to add the domain to an existing hosting plan such as Enthusiast or higher.

    Tip: Depending on your plan, you can attach several domains to the same plan. For example, you can add a total of five domains to an Enthusiast plan. Please check our guide How do I attach a domain to a hosting plan? for more information.

  • Click Buy hosting plan to purchase a new plan for this domain.
    

Step 3 - Select your new plan

On the next page, you will see your current plan and the other available options.

Select the plan you want and click Upgrade or Downgrade.

Step 4 - Approve

• If you selected a cheaper plan, click Downgrade to confirm your change.
• If you selected a more expensive plan, you first need to select a payment method and click Approve.

Depending on your payment method, you need to enter your payment details to finalise the upgrade.
